| My name Kurt Skytte. I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and received engineering degrees from the University of California at Berkeley. Before starting AlamoWeb Solutions I developed complex medical devices and equipment for over 25 years. I learned that in order to develop quality, cost-effective products in the least amount of time, it is crucial to work closely with customers throughout the entire development process. I apply the same design philosophy to website design. That is why I am able to design stylish, effective websites in less time and at much lower costs than other designers. Prior to starting a new design, a free website mock-up is created so my customers get see what the website will look like before they commit to my services. The creation of this mock-up also helps me better understand a customer's website vision and requirements. Using this information, I generate a detailed fixed-price quotation so customers know exactly what their website will cost before work is started. Once all the content is provided, designs can usually be completed in a few weeks and sometimes as little as one week. My customers all tell me that one of my most valued qualities is how easy I am to communicate and work with compared with other designers they have used.
